Valuations Manager (m/f/d)
We are looking for a strategic, analytical, and impact‑driven Valuations Manager to join our team in Madrid. In this role, you will be the company’s valuation lead, directly influencing key decisions in secured NPL and real estate portfolios. What will you do on a day-to-day basis:
· Lead the design, governance, and enhancement of internal valuation methodologies and standards.
· Perform real estate valuations and critically review external valuation reports.
· Support underwriting and portfolio management teams by providing valuation insights during acquisitions and ongoing asset strategies.
· Manage and challenge external valuation providers, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and turnaround efficiency.
· Identify and onboard new valuation partners, technology tools, and best‑practice methodologies.
· Drive digitalization and automation of the valuation process, including data enrichment, modeling, and process optimization.
· Develop and maintain a robust real estate valuation database and performance KPIs.
· Contribute to investment committees with clear, business‑oriented valuation narratives.
What you bring & who you are:
· Degree in Economics, Business, Engineering, Architecture or related field
· Experience in secured NPLs, REO portfolios, or real estate valuation within servicers, funds, banks, or advisory firms
· Strong analytical mindset and exceptional attention to detail
· Commercial awareness and ability to assess valuation decisions within a broader portfolio strategy
· Ability to translate technical valuation work into actionable insights for non‑technical stakeholders
· Proven ability to manage and challenge external valuation providers
· Skilled at coordinating and collaborating effectively across multiple teams
· Resilience, adaptability, and ability to deliver under pressure
· MRICS certification is highly valued
· Fluency in Spanish and English
· 5+ years of professional experience in a similar role
· Availability to travel when required
